Administrative Plan 7/1/2025 Page 17-87 <br />Notice of Rent Change to Owner [24 CFR 983.203(d)] <br />Whenever there is a change in rent to owner, the PHA must provide written notice to the owner <br />specifying the amount of the new rent to owner. The PHA notice of rent adjustment constitutes <br />an amendment of the rent to owner specified in the HAP contract. The adjusted amount of rent to <br />owner applies for the period of 12 calendar months from the annual anniversary of the HAP <br />contract. <br />SAHA Policy <br />SAHA will provide the owner with at least 30 days written notice of any change in the <br />amount of rent to owner. <br />PHA-Owned Units [24 CFR 983.301(g)] <br />For PHA-owned PBV units, the initial rent to owner and the annual redetermination of rent at the <br />anniversary of the HAP contract are determined by the independent entity approved by HUD. <br />The PHA must use the rent to owner established by the independent entity. <br />EXHIBIT 1
