<br /> Administrative Plan 7/1/2025 Page 18-30 <br />VAWA [FR Notice 8/13/24] <br />When a veteran’s family member is receiving protection under VAWA because the veteran is the <br />perpetrator of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking, <br />the victim must continue to be assisted. Upon termination of the perpetrator’s VASH assistance, <br />the victim must be given a regular HCV if one is available, and the perpetrator’s VASH voucher <br />must be used to serve another eligible veteran family. If a regular HCV is not available, the <br />perpetrator must be terminated from assistance and the victim will continue to use the VASH <br />voucher. <br />EXHIBIT 1
