PISURANCE NOT REQUIRED N-2025-171 <br /> A'urct,l','.PY PROCEED <br /> CITY CLERK <br /> DATE- JUL 0 3 20z5 Santa Ana RENTAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT (HHAP) <br /> LANDLORD NAME & ADDRESS: UNIT NO. &ADDRESS TENANT(S) NAME(S) <br /> Guinida Apartments, LLC 404 West Guinida Lane, David Serna, Jessica <br /> ("Landlord") Anaheim, CA 92805 Serna <br /> ("Subject Property") (collectively, "Tenant") <br /> Telephone Number: 657 764-0751 <br /> This agreement ("Contract") is entered into between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br /> municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br /> California ("City" or "Program Administrator")and the Tenant(s) identified above ("Tenant"). This <br /> Contract applies only to the Tenant family and the Subject Property identified above. <br /> 1. TERM OF THE CONTRACT <br /> The Contract shall begin on July 1, 2025 and continue for a six (6) month term. <br /> 2. RENTAL ASSISTANCE <br /> A. Program Description. The City is providing rental assistance directly to landlords <br /> on behalf of tenant participants in the program through funding received from the <br /> Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Grant Program for Rapid <br /> Rehousing as facilitated through the State of California Department of Housing and <br /> Community Development ("HHAP" or"Program"). <br /> B. Rental Assistance Payments. The Program Administrator will provide rental <br /> assistance for the term stated above. The Program Administrator will make rental <br /> assistance payments directly to the Landlord for the benefit of the Tenant(s) as <br /> follows: <br /> 1 710,00 for Month 1 (July 2025); <br /> 1 520.00 for Month 2 (August 2025); <br /> 1 330.00 for Month 3 (September 2025); <br /> 1 140.00 for Month 4 (October 2025); <br /> 950.00 for Month 5 (November 2025); <br /> 760.00 for Month 6 (December 2025). <br /> Neither the Program Administrator nor the State of California assumes any <br /> obligation for the Tenant's rent, or for payment of any claim by the Landlord against <br /> the Tenant. The Program Administrator's obligation is limited to making rental <br /> assistance payments to the Landlord on behalf of the Tenant in accordance with <br /> this Contract. Further, the Program Administrator's obligation is subject to a written <br /> agreement with the State of California and HHAP funding through the State of <br /> California. <br /> Landlord's Rental Assistance Payment checks shall be made payable to and <br /> mailed as follows: <br /> Landlord Name: Guinida Apartments, LLC. <br /> Landlord Address: Attn: Pedro Garcia and Renato Guzman 4085 East La Palma <br /> Street #K, Anaheim, CA 92807. <br /> 1 <br /> DOCSOC/1 5 62 707v3/022 363-00 11 <br />
