SELECTION FROM THE WAITING LIST [24 CFR 983.251(c)] <br />Income Targeting [24 CFR 983.251(c)(9)] <br />At least 75 percent of the families admitted to the PHA’s tenant-based and project-based voucher <br />programs during the PHASAHA fiscal year from the waiting list (including owner-maintained <br />PBV waiting lists) must be extremely low-income families. The income targeting requirement <br />applies to the total of admissions to both programs. <br />Units with Accessibility Features [24 CFR 983.251(c)(9)] <br />Families who require particular accessibility features for persons with disabilities must be <br />selected first to occupy PBV units with such accessibility features. The PHA must have some <br />mechanism for referring to accessible PBV units a family that includes a person with a mobility <br />or sensory impairment. <br />EXHIBIT 1
