SUar-ldUp <br /> Por kids <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> Standup for Kids Orange County Supportive Services Policy <br /> Purpose <br /> This policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for providing suppoltive services to <br /> participants enrolled in the Workforce Innovation and Oppo 11Unity Act(WIOA)program. <br /> Supportive services are designed to help participants overcome barriers to employment and <br /> training, ensuring their successful participation in WIOA-authorized activities. Goal is to <br /> aid youth with their successful completion of the SUFK W10WA program. <br /> Scope <br /> This policy applies to all WIOA participants who demonstrate a need for supportive services <br /> and meet the eligibility requirements outlined below. <br /> Eligibility <br /> Participants may be eligible for suppoltive services if they meet the following criteria: <br /> 1. Must be actively enrolled in a W10A program. <br /> 2. Must demonstrate a financial or physical need that prevents them from <br /> participating in WIOA activities without assistance. <br /> 3. In cases where assistance has been received from another agency but does not <br /> fully meet the participant's needs, documentation of that support must be <br /> provided. The case manager will assess and determine next steps accordingly. <br /> Funding Approval and Service Delivery <br /> The availability of funds for supportive services will be confirmed by the fiscal advisor, <br /> accounting clerk, or program leadership. All supportive services are provided based on available <br /> funding, demonstrated participant need, and on a first-come, first-served basis. <br />
