CITY COUNCIL 18 JULY 15, 2025 <br />Councilmember Hernandez thanked City staff for their work in organizing the meeting, <br />echoed Mayor Pro Tem Vazquez’s remarks regarding constituents’ behaviors, and <br />recognized resident Eileen Constance Marcel Falkner in celebration of her 99th <br />birthday. <br /> <br />Mayor Amezcua thanked City Attorney Carvalho for her continued efforts in engaging <br />with the community and upholding the City’s charter, announced Coffee with the Mayor <br />scheduled for August 2, 2025, at the Santa Ana Zoo, and extended early birthday <br />wishes to Parks and Recreation Director Hawk Scott. She expressed concern to the <br />City Attorney and City Manager regarding three hostile work environment complaints <br />filed against Councilmember Hernandez and formally requested the matter be <br />investigated and addressed in accordance with the City’s Code of Ethics. <br /> <br />Police Chief Robert Rodriguez confirmed the officers in regards to Noe Rodriguez’s <br />death are under investigation by the Attorney General’s Office in accordance with <br />Assembly Bill 1506 and clarified the Attorney General does not provide case updates <br />during ongoing investigations. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT – Adjourn the City Council meeting. <br /> <br />MINUTES: Mayor Amezcua adjourned the City Council Meeting at 11:37 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted: <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________ <br />Jennifer L.
