Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Hello,
I am a Realtor and concerned homeowner located in the Lacy Crossing community. I purchased my property in
November of 2022 and was told then, that the industrial businesses around the residential community would be
shutting down, but I have yet to see that happen.
In the mean time, my family and neighbors quality of life has been disrupted dealing with the inconsideration of
the industrial businesses around us that consist of Recycling centers, car junk yards, and land full of toxic
materials and chemicals being brought in from construction sites to sort through.
There are multiple industrial properties operating Without a business license and has been confirmed through
the Santa Ana business license office.
One of the properties is located at 1008 E. 4th Street Santa Ana, CA. This property has put our health at risk
with the air quality due to no upkeep, dirt ground, and the semi trucks in and out of the business, operating
outside residential noise ordinances, and is a sore eye bringing down the value of the home properties around it.
Attached are current pictures and videos of an example of a property operating WITHOUT a business license
and needs to cease operations immediately.
The decision to keep the moratorium in favor of removing all industrial overlay in the Lacy community is of the
upmost importance or the city’s effort to revitalize the city will fall short and the community itself will go
downhill.
Please hear our cries and support a safer and beautiful Santa Ana for the new million dollar communities and its
residents!
Thanks,
Jackie Michael
eXp Realty of Southern California, Inc.
Realtor, DRE # 02226270
Jacqueline.Michael@exprealty.com
+1 (714) 309-6811

Planning Commission 1 – 221 3/6/2025
