The Police Department has no issues <br />of concern regarding this application. <br />The Police Department is satisfied with the operational standards <br />applicable to the on-premise Type 47 ABC license. The Police Department <br />concludes that the conditions set forth will mitigate any potential negative <br />impact to the surrounding community and therefore does not oppose the <br />granting of the modification to the existing CUP. <br />Public Notification and Community Outreach <br />Project notifications were posted, published, and mailed in accordance with City and State <br />regulations. Copies of the public notice, including a 1,000-foot notification radius map, <br />and the site posting are provided in Exhibit 6. The site is located within the Lacy <br />Neighborhood Association and located within 1,000 feet of the French Park Neighborhood <br />Association. To ensure thorough community outreach, notices were sent to the Lacy <br />Neighborhood Association to identify any areas of concerns due to the proposed <br />application request. Moreover, staff contacted the Lacy and French Park neighborhood <br />associations, respectively, and at the time this report was printed, no issues of concern <br />were raised regarding the proposed CUP. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the CEQA <br />Guidelines, the project is categorically exempt from further review per Section 15301 <br />(Class 1 – Existing Facilities). Class 1 exemption applies to the operation, repair, <br />maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private <br />structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving <br />negligible or no expansion of existing or former use.
