<br /> <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2025-XXX <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />xxxv: Goal UD-4 supports the creation of nodes and urban hubs throughout the <br />City to foster community, education, arts and culture, business activities, <br />and entertainment. <br /> <br />xxxvi. Goal UD-5 supports the creation of focal points at major intersections to <br />enhance community identity and open space. <br /> <br />xxxvii. Goal UD-6 promotes the creation of new and protection of existing City <br />landmarks and memorable places that convey positive images. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 2. In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and <br />the CEQA Guidelines, the recommended action is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per <br />Section 15306. This exemption consists of basic data collection, research, and resource <br />evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental <br />resource. These may be strictly for information gathering purposes, or as part of a study <br />leading to an action which a public agency has not yet approved, adopted, or funded. <br />Section 3.
