Subject: PLC Programming and Consulting Services, ENTERPRISE <br />AUTOMATION <br />Attention: Fallon Franklin ATETRATE=H COMPANY <br />Thank you for providing this opportunity to submit our proposal for PLC Programming and Consulting <br />Services for the City of Santa Ana (the City). <br />As we understand it, the City is seeking the services of a qualified control systems integrator to configure <br />PLC and HMI control system programs for the City's water production facilities on as -needed basis. The <br />City is additionally searching for a firm that has the expertise and capacity to provide professional <br />automation consultation services for each of the City's major CIP projects. <br />Enterprise Automation is the City's most recent Change Manager (CM) and one of three qualified, City <br />approved PLC programmers. Enterprise Automation has delivered this RFP's scope of services for the <br />City across nearly 30 projects and has been the City's trusted system integrator for the past 10 years. <br />Over the course of our relationship with the City, we have acted as an extension of the City's staff to <br />implement protocols, best practices, and standards that have ensured site implementation consistency <br />and significantly enhanced the City's water controls infrastructure over their water assets. <br />Enterprise Automation fully understands the complexity and risk associated with this contract and has <br />executed work under similar contracts for over two dozen municipalities. EA is one of the most highly <br />certified, trained, and recognized firms in the region and is more than capable of executing this scope of <br />work. We are ideally positioned to meet the City's specific needs and ensure that the City's water controls <br />infrastructure will continue to adhere to their standards and operate at peak efficiency. <br />Notably, <br />1. We specialize in the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of water and <br />wastewater PLC and SCADA controls systems. <br />2. Our staff has 180 certifications, 13 professional engineering licenses, and has completed 1,300+ <br />projects with the City's standardized technologies (AVEVA and Schneider Electric). <br />3. We have a holistic understanding of the City's vision for their SCADA assets. We developed the <br />design standards that are currently being used to upgrade the City's pump stations. <br />4. EA designed and implemented the City's highly effective Change and Source control systems. <br />5. EA's headquarters, and the majority of our staff, is located in Irvine, less than 30 minutes away <br />from most of the City's water assets. <br />The following proposal describes our standard methodologies and initiatives, which we use to deliver <br />consistent, high -quality systems for our customers and would continue to use on City projects. <br />We appreciate your review of our proposal and consideration of Enterprise Automation (C corporation) <br />as your trusted partner.
