WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will cause work on the project to be <br />commenced within a reasonable time after receipt of notification from OCTA and that <br />the project will be carried to completion with reasonable diligence; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will comply where applicable with provisions of <br />the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the <br />Americans with Disabilities Act, and any other federal, state, and/or local laws, rules <br />and/or regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana must include all projects funded by Net <br />Revenues in the seven-year Capital Improvement Program as part of the Renewed <br />Measure M Ordinance eligibility requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana authorizes a formal amendment to the seven- <br />year Capital Improvement Program to add projects approved for funding upon approval <br />form the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will provide a minimum of 50% in matching <br />funds for the Santa Ana Zoo Stormwater Capture and Diversion Project as required by <br />the Orange County Comprehensive Transportation Funding Programs Guidelines. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana as follows: <br />Section 1. The City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes the City Manager, or their <br />designee, as the official representative of the City of Santa Ana to accept funds for the <br />Environmental Cleanup, Tier 2 Grant Program for the Santa Ana Zoo Stormwater <br />Capture and Diversion Project. <br />Section 2. The City of Santa Ana agrees to fund its share of the project costs <br />and any additional costs over the grant funding. <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this 215t day of May, 2024. <br />Resolution No. 2024-017 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
