The Hawkins House, built in <br />circa 1890, qu lifies for listing in the National Register of <br />Historic Places under Criterion C. It also qualifies for listing <br />in the Santa Ana Register of Historical Property for its intact and <br />notable display of the distinguishing characteristics of a modestly <br />sized yet fully detailed Queen Anne (Late Victorian) residence from <br />the late ninete nth century. Additionally, the house is eligible <br />to be categor zed as Landmark for its unique architectural <br />significance as illustrated by its shiplap siding trimmed with <br />corner boards, double -hung sash windows, a hipped and flat roof <br />embellished with patterned shingles, ornamental brackets and <br />pendants, and ornate entrance porch with turned posts and <br />denticulate ball -and -spindle frieze. <br />1810 North Gree'leaf Street, Greenwald House. The Greenwald House, <br />built in 1888, qualifies for listing in the National Register of <br />Historic Places under Criterion A and C. It also qualifies for <br />listing in the Santa Ana Register of Historical Property for its <br />intact display 'f the characteristics of a Stick/Eastlake style of <br />nineteenth century. The farmhouse is also an example of a business <br />(agriculture) tY}at was once common but in now rare. Additionally, <br />the structure I eligible to be categorized as Landmark for its <br />unique architectural significance illustrated by its box -like <br />massing, sheathing in medium shiplap trimmed with end boards, <br />decoratively bracketed eaves, tall and narrow pairs on windows, and <br />a two story sgjared bay topped by a gable embellished with stick <br />work and a trellis pattern. <br />• 1816 North Heliotrope Drive, Hillis House. The Hillis House, built <br />in 1930, qualifies for listing in the National Register of Historic <br />Places under Criterion C. It also qualifies for listing in the <br />Santa Ana Regis er of Historical Property for its intact display of <br />the distinguishing characteristics of a Spanish Colonial Revival. <br />Additionally, tie house is eligible to be categorized as Landmark <br />for its unique architectural significance as illustrated by its <br />asymmetrical ma sing and stucco exterior, red clay tiles on the <br />shallowly overlanging roofs, tapering chimney attached to the <br />fagade, wooden 3alcony on the second story, and main entrance with <br />elaborately paneled wood door set with an arch way flaked by <br />chamfered pilasters. <br />
