This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana- Use caution when openmg atbchments or hnks- <br />Dear Santa Ana Planning Commissioners, <br />We are IhInting as a parents of a recent students at Santiago Elementary Schaal to express my <br />heartfelt gratitude to the Segerstrom Family-- Several years ago, our Santiago Drama performing <br />arts pro gam- the only elementary school program of its kind in all of Orange bounty — was <br />returning from COVID and needed sustainability- Without parent and community funding, it we <br />have ceased to exist_ <br />Thanksto the generous donation from the Segerstrom Family, the program not only survived but <br />flourished. Their support gave two years to build up for sustainably so we could secure grants and <br />additional funding to keep it going. Today, my children and hundreds of others have thrived <br />because of the investment the fanny- made in our community - <br />This is not just a program, it's a lifeline for students who might otherwise never have this <br />opportunity- Please know the Segerstrom Family's contributions have had a profound and lasting <br />impact on our school and community - <br />The Village is an investment in Santa Ana in the same way they investment 'in our families success - <br />I hope the city continues to understand, appreciate and support the family investment locally_ We <br />are excited to have this as part of our community - <br />Sincerely, <br />Chris & C:atey Reese <br />Santa Ana Residents & Santiago Elementary School Recent Alumni Family <br />City of Santa Ana <br />August 2025 <br />32 <br />
