The Village Santa Ana Specific Plan Project <br />Subject: ne Segerstrom Family's Support Changed My Child's Life <br />Dear Planning C,ommission'liembers, <br />As a parent, I have watched my daughter blossom thanks to Santiago Elements s <br />performing arts program. �%Ien we learned the program was going to be cut due to lack <br />of funding, our hearts sank. This was the one program that truly made my daughter <br />excited to go to school each day. <br />The Segerstrom Familys donation steppes in at the perfect moment. It didn't just save a <br />program; it saved my child's passion and self-confidence. Those two years they funded <br />bought our school the time to seek other grants and support to secure the program's <br />future. Without them, it -would have ended abruptly, and hundreds of lids would have <br />lost something irreplaceable. <br />On behalf of my family, I want to thank the Segerstroms for belie% ng in the importanoe <br />of arts education.
