The Village Santa Ana Specific Plan Project <br />Subject: Please Recognize the Lifesa, ping Role the Segerstroms Played in Our Arts <br />Program <br />Dear Members of the Santa Ana Planning Commission, <br />I pant to take a moment to highlight the incredible impact the Segerstrom Family has <br />had on Santiago Elementary School and our students. We wexe faced -with our one-of--a- <br />kind performing arts program being eliminated. For many children, this program is <br />their introduction to the arts — a chance to sing, dance, and express themselves in gays <br />that traditional academics cannot offer. <br />The Segerstroms' finely donation was not just financial help, it w-as a lifeline. It bought <br />us two precious years to seek additional funding and grants to secure the programs <br />future. Without that donation, the program would have ceased, and an entire generation <br />of students would have missed out on these opportunities. <br />e are forever grateful for their commitment to education and the arts.
