The Village Santa Ana Specific Plan Project <br />Subject: Support forth e Segerstrem Family —Their Generosity keeps giving back to <br />Arts Education at Santiago Elementary <br />Dear Santa Ana Planning Commissioners, <br />As a parent of tutu students at Santiago Elementary School —one in 4th grade and one <br />in 6th—I want to express my deepest gratitude and support to tkre Segerstrom Family <br />far their extraordinary generosity, <br />A few years ago, Santiago's Drama Program —one of the only ones like it in Orange <br />County --was about to be shut down because of a lack of funding. The Segerstrom <br />Family stepped in at just the right time, Their generous donation saved the program and <br />gave us two critical years to find new funding and keep it going, <br />Today, my 6th grader is a proud and passionate member of the Santiago Drama <br />Program, His experience has sparked a love for the performing arks and inspired him to <br />continue pursuing it in middle school and beyond. <br />As a parent and Drama Booster, I have witnessed firsthand the t ra nMo rmative impact <br />this program has --not just on my own children, but on hundreds of studer-is a :ross our <br />school_ It builds confidence, nurtures creativity, and gives children a sate space to <br />express themselves freely and without judgment, <br />The Segerstrom Family's support has left a lasting legacy on our school and community. <br />I am profoundly thankful for their contribution to our school and all other wonderful <br />contributions in our Santa Ana communities, <br />Sincerely, <br />Susana Guzman <br />Santiago Elementary School <br />City of Santa Ana <br />115-2 <br />August 2025 <br />45 <br />
