The Santa Ana
Police Department has exercised both one-year extension options through August 31,
2026.
One of the contractors requested an amendment in the scope of services to allow for
the option and ability to store any towed vehicle and release the vehicle, or any of its
contents, in an area close to, but outside of the corporate City limits. The Santa Ana
Police Department has evaluated the request and is in support of allowing this
amendment for all four contractors. However, one contractor has determined this
change in scope is not necessary for their operations and as such, the amendment is
not necessary for this specific contractor. The third amendments to the agreements
revise Section 1.5, Storage Facility and Vehicle Storage Requirement, to allow the
contractor to store any towed vehicle and release the vehicle, or any of its contents, in
an area no further than three (3) miles from the corporate City limits.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
There is no environmental impact associated with this action.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
EXHIBIT(S)
1.
