The scope of this agreement is to provide the City of Santa Ana PWA <br /> Facilities Maintenance with the following services upon request or on an as <br /> needed basis: fire alarm system inspection, fire sprinkler system inspection, repairs <br /> and or maintenance services in a timely, cost-effective, compliant manner. These <br /> services must include, but are not limited to: automatic sprinkler tests, hose station <br /> inspections, fire pump testing, and fire alarm system tests, including California Fire <br /> Code Standards and other federal and state standards at the locations specified on <br /> Exhibit 1. Fire alarm and sprinkler systems are located throughout the City and are <br /> owned and operated by the City. <br /> 2. Contractor must coordinate all tests with local, regional, state and/or federal <br /> enforcement agencies, and conveyance contractor when applicable, and provide <br /> maintenance and repair services that conform to all current applicable local, state and <br /> national codes and regulations, including, but not limited to: <br /> • Uniform/International Fire Code Standards <br /> • California Fire Code Standards <br /> • National Electrical Code <br /> • California Code of Regulations, Title 19 and 24 (if applicable) <br /> • National Fire Protection Agency Code <br /> 3. The Contractor's proposal, and its pricing, will include per hour labor, transportation <br /> to site, materials and supplies, training, taxes, permits, fees and reports to meet the <br /> specifications contained herein. <br /> 4. The City owns various types of existing fire alarms systems, some with remote <br /> sensors capable of sending and receiving alarm activity to and from annunciation <br /> and supervised systems. System types include but not limited to: Simplex, Radionlx, <br /> Silent Knight, Notifier, Pyrotronics, Redhawk and other manufacturers with California <br /> State Fire Marshal equipment listings. Equipment includes enunciator, smoke and <br /> heat detectors, manual initiating devices, flow switch, audible and visual devices, <br /> supervisory devices, automatic dialers/communicators, etc. <br /> General Requirements <br /> City of Santa Ana IFB No. 25-047 Page 10 of 34 <br />
