The parties entered into Agreement ffA-2022-191, dated October 4, 2022 ("Agreement") by which <br /> Consultant agreed to provide psychological evaluation and counseling services for the City City`s Police <br /> Department. The term of the Agreement runs through September 30,2025 with the option to extend the <br /> Agreement for up to two(2)one(1)year renewals. The Agreement is current and in-effect. <br /> B_ The parties now wish to exorcise the first option to extend the Agreement for an additional one-year <br /> period and amend the Agreement to increase the overall compensation. No other changes are <br /> contemplated by this First Amendment. <br /> C. This first amendment is prepared for approval by the City Manager under his authority provided in <br /> Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 2-748(a), <br /> The Parties therefore agree: <br /> 1. Section 2.a.,Compensation,is amended to increase the overall compensation by$5,000. The total <br /> amount to be expended under the terns of this Agreement, including any extensions exercised by <br /> the parties,shall not exceed$17,000. <br /> 2. Pursuant to Section 3,Term,the parties agree to exercise the first of two(2)available one-year <br /> options to extend the term of the Agreement through September 30,2026. <br /> 3.
