Justin McCusker, Applicant, stated he was available to answer any questions from <br /> the public or council regarding the project. <br /> City Clerk Jennifer L. Hall stated there were (49) e-comments received and <br /> announced speakers would have two minutes to provide their comments. <br /> The following individuals addressed City Council in-person: <br /> 1. Adrian Esparza spoke in support of the project. <br /> 2. Jimmy Elrod spoke regarding the benefits of the project to the community and <br /> spoke in support of the project. <br /> 3. Carlos Castellanos expressed gratitude to the Segerstrom Foundation and to <br /> City staff in the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments for their <br /> hard work, and spoke in support of the project. <br /> 4. Senorino Estrada (translation: Spanish) requested affordable housing for <br /> families. <br /> 5. Long Nguyen expressed gratitude to the Segerstrom Foundation and spoke in <br /> support of the project. <br /> 6. Jonah Breslaw expressed concern regarding the Specific Plan related to the <br /> hotel usage. <br /> 7. Chris Reese spoke in support of the project. <br /> 8. Emilse Pineda (translation: Spanish) expressed concern regarding the proposed <br /> Specific Plan related to the by-right hotel usage. <br /> 9.
