ARTICLE III <br /> 3.0 IMPLEMENTATION <br /> 3.1 This MOU constitutes a recommendation jointly submitted to the City Council of the City <br /> of Santa Ana. The parties agree that this MOU shall not be binding upon the parties until <br /> said City Council: <br /> A. Acts, by majority vote, formally to approve said MOU and, <br /> B. Acts to appropriate the necessary funds required to implement the provisions of this <br /> MOU that require funding. <br /> 3.2 Implementation shall be effective as of the date the MOU is both approved by the City <br /> Council and the funding has been appropriated pursuant to Section 3.1. If the parties fail to <br /> agree to implement provisions of this MOU not requiring City Council approval, then <br /> negotiations shall resume upon the request of either party. <br /> City Council 17 — 8 10/7/2025 <br />
