Justin McCusker, Applicant, stated he was available to answer any questions from <br />the public or council regarding the project. <br />City Clerk Jennifer L. Hall stated there were (49) e-comments received and <br />announced speakers would have two minutes to provide their comments. <br />The following individuals addressed City Council in -person: <br />1. Adrian Esparza spoke in support of the project. <br />2. Jimmy Elrod spoke regarding the benefits of the project to the community and <br />spoke in support of the project. <br />3. Carlos Castellanos expressed gratitude to the Segerstrom Foundation and to <br />City staff in the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments for their <br />hard work, and spoke in support of the project. <br />4. Senorino Estrada (translation: Spanish) requested affordable housing for <br />families. <br />5. Long Nguyen expressed gratitude to the Segerstrom Foundation and spoke in <br />support of the project. <br />6. Jonah Sreslaw expressed concern regarding the Specific Plan related to the <br />hotel usage. <br />7. Chris Reese spoke in support of the project. <br />8. Emilse Pineda (translation: Spanish) expressed concern regarding the proposed <br />Specific Plan related to the by -right hotel usage. <br />9. Jake Sarenana expressed concern regarding the proposed Specific Plan related <br />to the hotel usage. <br />The following individuals addressed City Council via teleconference: <br />10. Jared Lindo spoke regarding Item No. 10 and spoke in support of the project. <br />11. Shuntel Andrews spoke in support of the project. <br />12.
