His repeated and escalating actions over the past <br />several months have created a hostile work environment, placed the safety of my= and me in <br />jeopardy, and violated multiple protections afforded to me under the Santa Ana City Charter, the <br />California Peace Officers' Bill of Rights, and the U.S. Constitution. <br />Background and Defamatory Conduct <br />On February 4, 2025, during a livestreamed and publicly recorded City Council meeting, <br />Councilmember Hernandez referred to me as a "murderer' in connection with an officer -involved <br />
