Section 1501—Violations Constitute Misdemeanors Any violation of the Charter is a misdemeanor. Councilmember Hernandez's actions—particularly the public release of internal departmental materials and personal information—warrant legal review and potential prosecution under this section. Formal Requests for Action I respectfully request the following: 1. That the City immediately initiate a formal investigation into Councilmember Hernandez's conduct, consistent with Charter Section 401.05. 2. That a legal review be conducted regarding violations of Charter Sections 408 and 1501. 3. That all social media content and public statements made or reposted by Councilmember Hernandez be preserved and submitted as evidence. 4.
