EXHIBIT A-Park Host Duties and Obligations <br /> • Park Host will inform City of any atypical occurrences in the area and report any <br /> illegal activity to the Santa Ana Police Department immediately. <br /> • Park Host will receive reservation permits from City via email at the beginning of <br /> each month and/or as otherwise provided by the City and post park reservations <br /> twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled event time and date. <br /> • Park Host will assist in routine Park Maintenance tasks including, but not limited <br /> to: <br /> o Providing additional restroom supplies and assisting in emptying park trash <br /> and recycling receptacles on heavy use weekends. All supplies will be <br /> provided by the City <br /> o Picking up liter. <br /> a Filling doggie waste bag dispenser. <br /> o Re-stocking toiletries when empty. <br /> o Utilizing a plunger when toilets become clogged, if unsuccessful, notifying <br /> maintenance on-call. <br /> o Notifying City via the My Santa Ana App including all maintenance and <br /> graffiti related incidents. <br /> o Contact security, if necessary, if the Host has already contacted park users <br /> and made them aware of any violations to the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> (SAMC). <br /> o Serve as a liaison between PRCSA and park guests for park related <br /> information. <br /> o Assist with securing restroom facilities when needed. <br /> o Provide both PRCSA and PWA with an atypical incident log and scheduled <br /> inspection report. <br /> • Park Host will assist with park special events when requested by the City. <br /> • Park Host will raise and lower City designated flags at park when requested by <br /> the City <br /> • Other duties as agreed upon in writing by Park Host and City. <br /> City will: <br /> • Provide tools to report/capture data. <br /> • Ensure Park Host is known to City stakeholders (i.e. SAPD, SAPD Dispatch, On- <br /> Call Security, OCFA etc.) <br /> • Enhance communication between City and Park Host via the My Santa Ana App <br /> and other means of communication (i.e. bi-monthly meetings with Park Host, <br /> providing reservation reports etc.) <br /> • Develop a sign that allows the public to contact the Park Host. <br /> • Provide Park Host with historical data pertaining to the park (i.e. park history, <br /> park wildlife, park amenities, upcoming park projects/improvements, etc.) <br />
