Valencia Street) <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS <br /> <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2024- <br />05 and Historic Register Categorization No. 2025-09; and <br /> <br />2. Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to <br />execute the attached Mills Act agreement with Stephen Anthony Gorgone and Crishon <br />Maria Preja, Husband And Wife, as Trustees of The Stephen Anthony Gorgone And <br />Crishon Maria Preja Revocable Living Trust Dated July 5, 2022, for the property <br />located at 2556 N. Valencia Street, subject to non-substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> <br />Stephen Anthony Gorgone and Crishon Maria Preja, are requesting approval to designate <br />an existing Tudor Revival style single-family residence located at 2556 N. Valencia Street <br />to the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties, as well as approval to execute a Mills <br />Act agreement with the City of Santa Ana. The property qualifies for listing in the Santa <br />Ana Register of Historical Properties under Criterion 1 as an intact example of a Tudor <br />Revival-style house. It is also worthy of “Contributive” categorization as it contributes to <br />the history and character of its neighborhood as an example of the Tudor Revival style, <br />including its high-pitched front gabled roof with sloping roof eave, stucco wall cladding, <br />exterior brick chimney, and recessed front entry. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Project Location and Site Description <br /> <br />The subject property is located on the west side of Valencia Street and bound by adjacent <br />properties, in the Park Santiago neighborhood in Santa Ana. The site contains a 1,574- <br />square-foot, Tudor Revival-style residence and detached garage on a 7,500-square-foot <br />residential lot (Exhibits 3 and 4). <br /> <br />  <br />  <br />City Council 13 – 132 11/4/2025
