FREE RECORDING PURSUANT TO <br />GOVERNMENT CODE § 27383 <br />Resolution No. 2025-XX <br />Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. <br />2024-05 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2556 N. <br />VALENCIA STREET, SANTA ANA, ON THE HISTORICAL <br />REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC REGISTER <br />CATEGORIZATION NO. 2025-09 PLACING SAID <br />PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE CATEGORY <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />finds, determines, and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. On September 23, 2025, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2024-05) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2025-09) of the Enlow House located at 2556 N. <br />Valencia Street, Santa Ana. <br />B. The Enlow House has distinctive architectural features of the Tudor Revival <br />style and was built in 1927. <br />C. The Enlow House qualifies for listing in the Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Properties under Criterion 1 as an intact example of a Tudor Revival style <br />home in Santa Ana. The house displays characteristics of the Tudor Revival <br />style through its use of its, high-pitched front gabled roof with sloping roof <br />eave, stucco wall cladding, exterior brick chimney, and recessed front entry, <br />among other original features. The recommended categorization is <br />“Contributive” because it contributes to the overall character and history of <br />Park Santiago and is a representative example of Tudor Revival <br />architecture in Santa Ana. Character-defining features of the Tudor Revival <br />style exhibited by the house include, but are not necessarily limited to, high- <br />pitched front gabled roof with sloping roof eave and catslide roof feature, <br />stucco wall cladding, exterior brick chimney, diamond-glazed wood-sash <br />window and recessed front entry with segmental arch portals. <br />D. The legal owner of the property is Stephen Anthony Gorgone and Crishon <br />Maria Preja, husband And Wife, as Trustees of The Stephen Anthony <br />Gorgone And Crishon Maria Preja Revocable Living Trust Dated July 5, <br />2022, and any amendments thereto. <br />E. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />  <br />  <br />City Council 13 – 137 11/4/2025
