The Taylor - <br />Oglesby House) built circa 1908, qualifies for listing in the <br />Santa Ana (Register of Historical Properties for its <br />exemplificatidn of Classic Box variant of the Colonial Revival <br />architectural style. The stylistic signatures noted in this <br />structure. inc ude the box -like massing; bracketed eaves; narrow <br />clapboard she th; and rooftop accent by a centered front -gabled <br />dormer. Additionally, the two-story structure is eligible to be <br />categorized a Landmark for its unique architectural significance <br />illustrated by its front porch divided into three bays by paired <br />Tuscan columns; glazed door flanked by leaded glass sidelights; a <br />large window to the south spanned by a leaded glass transom; and <br />double -hung windows with muntins in a diamond -pattern in the <br />upper sash. <br />
