Healy Subject: Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2004-02 and Historic Register Categorization No. 2004-02 for the Property at 2520 North Valencia Street Ladies and Gentlemen: The Historic Resources Commission is currently in the process of placing and/or categorizing those properties in the City of Santa Ana recognized as having historical significance. On February 5, 2004, the Historic Resources Commission will conduct a public hearing to place the historical structure located gat 2520 North Valencia Street on the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties and determine an appropriate category designation to assign to your property. The' Santa Ana City Council directed the Historic Resources Commission to categorize all properties on the Santa �na Register of Historical Properties ,according to the appropriate historic and architectural crteria that were adopted by the City Council on January 18, 2000. The legislation included three distinct category designations. They include: (a) 1. The building, landmark or district is on the National Register or appears to be eligible to be placed on the register; or 2. The building, landmark or district is on the State Register or appears to be eligible to be placed on the register; or 3. The building, landmark or district has a historic/cultural significance to the City of Santa Ana; or 4. The building, landmark or district has a unique architectural signif4ance.
