The Consultant shall provide all necessary services to perform the following tasks: <br /> C. PROJECT TASKS <br /> Task 1: Project Management: <br /> o The City shall be the lead agency for the Santa Ana Vision Zero Plan Update, and the <br /> designated City Project Manager will coordinate project management through the Traffic <br /> Engineering Section of the Public Works Agency. <br /> o The Consultant shall be expected to interface both locally with City staff and with other <br /> affected agencies as necessary, as well as participating in discussions and <br /> presentations with the wider design team at periodic milestones as per consultant <br /> recommendations. In order to ensure a timely progression of the project from inception <br /> to final deliverable, the following activities should be anticipated once the Notice to <br /> Proceed (NTP) is authorized and as the Project progresses: <br /> • Project Kick-off Meeting <br /> • Weekly PDT Meetings <br /> • 6 Community Meetings(one community meeting at each City's Ward) <br /> Project Schedule Management <br /> Monthly Progress Reports <br /> Monthly Cost Accounting <br /> Quality Assurance/Quality Control <br /> o Of particular importance is the monthly PDT Meetings. The consultant shall prepare, <br /> update, and provide City staff with a punch list prior to meetings. City staff will be <br /> participating and guide the development of the SAVZ Plan Update throughout the <br /> process. <br /> Task 2: Data Collection: <br /> o Data collection will include, but not be limited to; traffic counts, collision data for the past <br /> ten years, posted speed limits, 85%the speed limits, lane configurations, street <br /> classification, lane widths, traffic citations, street lighting, trees, 'transit stops, transit <br /> board inglalighting, street crossings, and adjacent land uses. Data collected from the <br /> existing Santa Ana Vision Zero Plan may be re-used, as needed. <br /> Task 3: Community Outreach Surveys& Stakeholder Engagement: <br /> o Engage with key stakeholders including City staff, transportation authorities, community <br /> groups, and residents. <br /> o Conduct one community meeting/workshop for each City of Santa Ana's Ward, a total of <br /> six (6) meetings. <br /> o Gather input/feedback/recommendations on safety concerns, priorities for <br /> improvements, and community-specific needs related to the selected corridors. <br /> Task 4: Analysis: <br />
