• Implementation of traffic calming measures (speed humps/cushions, new or mod. <br /> traffic signals, etc.). <br /> • Enhanced crosswalks and pedestrian signals. <br /> • Dedicated bike lanes or shared-use paths. <br /> • Improved street lighting and signage. <br /> • Implementation of landscaped concrete mediums. <br /> Task 8: Implementation Plan: <br /> o Create a detailed implementation plan outlining the timeline, responsibilities, and budget <br /> for each safety strategy. <br /> o Coordinate with relevant City departments and agencies to ensure alignment with <br /> broader transportation and urban planning initiatives. <br /> Task 9: Develop Cost Estimates: <br /> o Cost estimates shall be prepared for each corridor/street segment. Based on the <br /> corridor/street segment Conceptual Engineering Plans/drawings developed, quantities <br /> will be generated, and unit pricing applied to prepare a conceptual level cost estimate <br /> using the ATP Cost Estimate format. Unit costs will be determined based on the <br /> following: <br /> • Review of local City examples <br /> • Review of other agencies <br /> • Collaboration with City staff <br /> o The cost estimates will be prepared for each of the seven (7) corridor/street segments. <br /> Project cost estimates will be reviewed with City staff to verify estimated cost by project <br /> phase to position for successful implementation: <br /> Task 10: Draft and Final Vision Zero Plan Update: <br /> o Draft Vison Zero Plan Update <br /> • The consultant shall update the Santa Ana Vision Zero Plan into a Draft Update <br /> to include the new corridor/street segments. As needed, the other maps, tables, <br /> exhibits, appendices, etc. related to the addition of the seven (7) new <br /> corridor/street segments, plans/recommendations, and any relevant information, <br /> will be updated. The community engagement section shall also be updated to <br /> include summaries of the six workshops in each City ward. This plan will be <br /> provided to the City for review for two rounds of revisions. <br /> o Final Vison Zero Plan Update <br /> • Upon completion of the City's review, comments will be addressed. The <br /> consultant shall develop a Final Vision Zero Plan Update to include all <br /> components mentioned above in the Scope of Work. This plan will be provided to <br /> the City for review for two rounds of revisions. Ten (10) hard copies (and one <br /> electronic) of the final plan will be printed and delivered. <br />
