City of Santa Ana California Environmental Quality Act <br />Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration <br /> <br />- 43 - <br />Mitigation Measures: <br /> <br />TRAF-1 – The Contractor will notify local Police and Fire Departments of its intent for a full street closure <br />at least two (2) days before closure is to begin. The Contractor shall cooperate with local authorities <br />relative to handling traffic through the area. <br /> <br />TRAF-2 – Transportation of heavy construction equipment and/or materials which requires use of <br />oversized-transport vehicles on State highways will need a Caltrans transportation permit. The Project <br />specifications will limit construction traffic to off-peak periods to minimize the potential impact on State <br />facilities. If construction traffic is expected to cause delays on any State facilities, a construction traffic <br />control plan detailing these delays shall be submitted for Caltrans’ review. <br /> <br />  <br />  <br />City Council 15 – 96 12/2/2025
