EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall provide uniforms, accessories, equipment, and alteration services to the Police <br />Department for approximately 600 employees working in various assignments including Patrol, <br />Traffic, Investigations, SWAT, Communications, Forensic Services, and Jail. Consultant may <br />also be requested to provide uniforms and accessories for the Planning and Building Agency <br />employees. <br />A. Description of goods and services — see Exhibit B <br />1. Routine uniforms and equipment orders shall be completed within a two (2) week <br />turnaround time, with exceptions for specialty items. <br />B. Consultant will maintain a full retail location no further than 20 miles from the City of <br />Santa Ana Police Department. Hours of operation for the store will be a minimum of 6 <br />days a week from at least 8:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m., Monday — Friday; and 8:00 a.m. — 12:00 <br />p.m. on Saturday. <br />C. Alteration Services <br />1. Initial tailoring will include any necessary alterations to provide a professional fit. <br />Tailoring shall be completed within five (5) working days of fitting for all standard <br />alterations and (15) working days for non-standard alterations. All alterations will be <br />stitched and bound to match the manufacturer's quality and color of thread. <br />2. Alterations will be completed at the retail site. <br />3. All uniform articles will be processed in such a manner to render the finished product <br />professional in appearance. This shall be completed on first visit and shall not require <br />numerous alteration repairs. <br />4. Consultant may send representative(s) to Santa Ana Police Department in cases <br />where five or more employees are in need of being fitted for body armor. <br />D. Consultant will maintain all duty equipment such as leather gear and standard uniforms <br />utilized by Santa Ana Police Department in stock at all times. <br />E. Consultant will assign an account representative or point of contact for the Santa Ana <br />Police Department. The account representative will be assigned to manage the City's <br />contract for specified services and be the main contact for Police Department personnel. <br />Account representative will ensure proper tracking of orders, invoices, and any other <br />activities related to the contract are handled in a timely manner. <br />F. Material Release — A "material release" form will be used by City employees to purchase <br />against this agreement. The number shown on the material release MUST appear on your <br />invoice. <br />1. In the event the City elects to utilize the Consultant's secure portal/website for <br />authorizing purchases, a material release may not be required. <br />
