Agreement Number: <br />AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER OR PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT/SERVICES OR FOR <br />REIMBURSEMENT OF TRAINING COSTS <br />FOR FY2024 URBAN AREAS SECURITY INITIATIVE (UASI) <br />BET\/VEEN <br />THE CITY OF ANAHEIM <br />AND CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of 20, by and <br />between the CITY OF ANAHEIM, a municipal corporation (the "CITY"), and CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA ("SUB-RECIPIENT"). <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, CITY, acting through the Anaheim Police Department in its capacity <br />as a Core City for the Anaheim/Santa Ana Urban Area under the FY2024 Urban Areas <br />Security Initiative, has applied for, received and accepted a grant entitled "FY 2024 <br />Urban Areas Security Initiative" FAIN # EMW-2024-SS-05088 under the Homeland <br />Security Grant Program from the federal Department Of Homeland Security (DHS), <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), through the State of California <br />Governor's Office of Emergency Services (CalOES), to support state and local efforts to <br />prevent terrorism and other catastrophic events and to prepare the Nation for the <br />threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to the security of the United States (the <br />"grant"), as set forth in the grant guidelines and assurances that are incorporated to this <br />Agreement by reference and located at: <br />u.s.
