The insurance escalation factor is derived solely from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' Producer <br />Price Index for insurance premiums. Additionally, per -account water use was assumed to remain <br />stable throughout the study period. <br />Water <br />There are currently approximately 47,100 water meters connected to the City's water system, which <br />includes fireline and recycled water meters in addition to the around 45,500 potable water meters. In ten <br />years, 47,627 meters are projected. A total of 269 new Water Service connections are projected to join <br />the water system during the 5-year rate setting period, approximately 53 per year. Figure 3 shows the <br />annual water customer growth for the study period.
