Minter St. Breaux Apts. Minimal Traditional 1948 <br />Rectangular in shape and topped with a low-pitched _hipped roof, <br />the apartment house at 901-907 N. Minter is clad in the original stucco <br />Pairs and singles of two -over -two double -hung windows, divided <br />horizontally, flank the centered front entrance. The single -storied <br />entrance portico is supported by square posts. Above are two small <br />diamond -paned casement windows. Stairways lead up to the second fle-or <br />on the north and south sides. The awnings on the front appear to be th-- <br />only alteration. <br />James and Laurence Breaux, who built these apartments, also lived <br />here, in the apartment listed as 909. James was a salesman for the W . R. <br />Stotts Company. The first tenants listed were H. J. Huelskamp, Bayard <br />Butcher, and D. A 'Tune. <br />903-923 N. Minter St. Condominiums 1962 N. C. <br />Rectangular in shape, the two-story condominiums at 903-923, are <br />built around a central courtyard. The center of the front facade is clad in <br />dark colored flagstone, while the ends covered with stucco coating. The <br />two -story -high centered entrance is protected by a wrought iron entry <br />fence. Distinctive wrought iron railings accent the small recessed porches <br />on each floor. Sliding glass doors open onto the porches. <br />800 BLOCK NORTH LACY ST. <br />802 N. Lacy Langley House Queen Anne Victorian <br />;.. <br />Constructed in 1894, the single -storied Langley House is topped with a <br />bellcast roof with gables facing each direction. Fanci-cut shingles accent the <br />pedimented gables. Narrow clapboard siding, edged in corner boards, <br />covers the exterior. Turned posts support the wrap -around porch. A new <br />balustrade with turned balusters extends between the posts. A few of the <br />windows, including the front -facing window, have been replaced with <br />
