French Park, one of the first residential developments in the City, was home to many <br />prominent businessmen, doctors, bankers, attorneys and civil servants from 1880 to the early 1940's. This house is in an excellent, <br />unaltered condition, and on its original site. The Hickox House is listed as a contributing structure to the historic architectural <br />integrity of French Park Historic District. <br />SUMMARY/CONCLUSION: <br />This building is characteristic of a significant period in the history of the City of Santa Ana. This building's features, such as the use <br />of shingles as an exterior finish, broad entry front porch supported by tapered columns, window detailing, wide eaves and exposed <br />rafter detailing are characteristics of the Bungalow/Craftsman style. <br />OWNER AND ADDRESS: Anne Marie Moerer <br />1218 N.
