ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT ADDENDUM Bristol Street and Memory Lane Intersection Improvements —Project No. 17-6883 Certified 1990 FEIS/EIR Mitigation Measures: T-1 If potential archaeological resources are encountered during grading all work will be halted in that particular location until a qualified archaeologist can evaluate the significance of the recovered materials. Due to the limited area of disturbance, within an existing developed and urban area, and limited depth of proposed excavations, the potential to uncover archaeological resources is considered low. The Project site is located within a highly -urbanized area within the City of Santa Ana. Cathedral Memorial Gardens is located approximately 2 miles north-west of the Project site In the event that human remains are uncovered during grading or excavation, contractors are required to comply with the procedures and requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code Section 7050.5 and CPRC Section 2098.98. The County Coroner and, in the event that the remains are Native American, the Native American Heritage Commission would be notified and, in tum, would notify those persons believed to be most likely descended from the deceased for appropriate disposition of the remains. The proposed Project would not result in an impact to human remains greater than previously analyzed in the 1990 FEIS/EIR.
