Use caution when opening attachments or links. <br />Good evening, Mayor and Council Members. <br /> <br />My name is Donna Fernández and I have lived in Santa Ana my entire life , 7 years currently in the Willard <br />Neighborhood. I am writing/speaking today to formally state my opposition to the proposed One Broadway Plaza <br />project. <br /> <br />I am concerned about the environmental impact this will generate. Noise, light pollution, increased strain on our <br />local power grid and water supply. <br /> <br />Another concern is about parking. This project will inevitably lead to 'spillover parking' in the surrounding <br />residential streets, specifically into the Willard neighborhood which is already congested. <br /> <br />I urge the Council to deny the current application or, at the very least, require a significant reduction in height and a <br />mandatory reassessment of the traffic mitigation plan. <br /> <br />I am not against growth, but I am against growth that ignores the safety and character of the existing community. <br /> <br />Thank you for your time and for considering my voice as a resident who will be most affected by this project. <br /> <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Donna Fernández <br />2 <br />
