Boards and Commissions Biannual Attendance Report <br /> March 3, 2026 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Three boards/commissions have full membership, as follows: <br /> - Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Commission <br /> - Planning Commission (includes one holdover appointee) <br /> - Police Oversight Commission (includes one holdover appointee) <br /> The other eight boards/commissions have at least one vacancy, as follows: <br /> - Arts and Culture Commission: 2 vacancies (Ward Nos. 1 and 5) <br /> - Community Development Commission: 2 vacancies (Ward 2, Section 8 Tenant <br /> Seat) <br /> - Environmental and Transportation Advisory Commission: 2 vacancies (Ward 5, <br /> Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Representative) <br /> - Historic Resources Commission: 1 vacancy (Ward 5) <br /> - Measure X Oversight Committee: 3 vacancies (Ward Nos. 1, 2, and 4) <br /> - Personnel Board: 1 vacancy (Ward 1) and 1 holdover appointee (Ward 6) <br /> - Rental Housing Board: 4 vacancies (Ward Nos. 3, 4, 5, and 6) <br /> - Youth Commission: 2 vacancies (Ward Nos. 2 and 5) <br /> The Rental Housing Board only had three appointed members for the first half of this <br /> reporting period (July— September), leaving them unable to have quorum to meet and <br /> conduct business. From October to December, there were four appointed members <br /> which fulfills quorum; however, individual schedules of the members did not allow them <br /> to all be present at the regularly scheduled meeting dates/times so no meetings were <br /> held. Subsequent appointments and resignations resulted in this board having four <br /> members briefly, although it now only has three appointed members and is unable to <br /> meet or conduct business as required by the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> EXHIBIT(S) <br /> 1.
