The General Plan's <br /> goals and policies promote expansion, maintenance, and enhancement of job <br /> opportunities for residents; attract and retain a balance of business types; and contribute <br /> to the overall quality of life experienced by the City's residents through increased <br /> economic prosperity. <br /> FVJ Launch your Business Workshop Series <br /> The 2025 Launch Your Business Workshop Series ,\ / <br /> provided aspiring entrepreneurs a clear, step-by-step <br /> introduction to starting a business. Offered monthly, the <br /> workshops covered key topics including business <br /> name selection and registration, business licensing, <br /> required permits, and state-level requirements such as = ' <br /> seller's permits and LLC registration. Sessions were <br /> held in English each month, with Spanish-language <br /> workshops offered bi-monthly to expand accessibility. <br /> The series offered hands-on, supportive learning that <br /> encouraged questions, practical application, and peer <br /> connection. Most importantly, the series served as an <br /> entry point for building lasting relationships and <br /> partnerships between the City, new entrepreneurs, and <br /> small business owners, reinforcing a shared "Above: Picture of a Launch your <br /> commitment to economic growth and business Business workshop. <br /> success. <br /> FVJ Santa Ana & Sahuayo Business Expo <br /> In March 2025, the Santa Ana—Sahuayo Sister Cities Business Expo delivered a <br /> successful three-day program, drawing strong attendance and reinforcing the cities' <br /> economic partnership.
