Community Development <br />The Arts and Culture Office invites submissions from artists working in various <br />mediums such as: visual arts, performance, music, creative writing, and digital <br />media. Artists can explore the intersection of arts & culture and economics by <br />designing projects that involve direct participation from residents and businesses <br />in Santa Ana. <br />In Fiscal Year 2024-25, 21 different groups received artists grants between $3,000 <br />and $14,000 that provided various artistic programs for the community. The <br />following provides a sample of the 21 programs implemented by groups that were <br />successful in receiving the grants awarded by the Arts and Culture Commission: <br />Dance Music Initiative <br />• 600+ student engagements <br />• 100+ unique students <br />• 8 instructors (+2 new volunteers during program) <br />• 4 graduates <br />• 15+ student/graduate DJ bookings <br />Delhi Center - Art and Literacy Program <br />• Collaboration with Monroe Elementary <br />• 21 students from 4th and 5th grades <br />• literacy lessons with engaging art -based activities <br />• Partnering with Artsy 101 for non -school day <br />camps <br />Measure X Success 14 <br />
