Classification and Compensation Resolution <br />March 17, 2026 <br />Page 2 <br />These Salary Schedules are being corrected retroactively pursuant to this Resolution <br />to ensure compliance with CalPERS requirements. CalPERS interprets California <br />Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 2, Section 570.5, as requiring City Council approval <br />of Salary Schedules grouped by employee unit and reflecting classification and <br />compensation changes approved by City Council through official actions, including <br />resolutions and MOU approvals. <br />Accordingly, the proposed Resolution recommends approval of the updated PMA <br />Salary Schedules for the term of the January 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025 PMA <br />MOU. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />EXHIBIT(S) <br />1.
