I strongly support placing this matter on the agenda as an urgency item
under the Ralph M. Brown Act.
I am watching my wife and children suffer as families in our community face the real threat of losing their homes.
Residents are experiencing severe emotional, financial, and mental health distress. This crisis is happening under the
city's watch, and yet no meaningful action has been taken. The city was put in place to protect us and enforce the law,
and it is failing to do so.
Immediate action is necessary to prevent further harm and protect vulnerable residents. Your sponsorship of this
agenda item is critical to ensuring the Council addresses this crisis publicly, formally, and without delay. I am a
concerned citizen of the United States and a member of our community. No one in our city should be experiencing
this level of housing instability, threat to safety, or suffering, yet families and children continue to face these urgent
risks.
Thank you for your urgent attention and leadership on this matter.
1
