Scope of Services <br /> VENDOR INFORMATION: The Jay Particle LLC dba Mad Science <br /> EVENT(S): Summer Splash Day Camp,Kid's Night Out, Afterschool Programs,Teen's Night <br /> Out, and Teen Camp <br /> SERVICE DATES &LOCATIONS <br /> 5/1/2026-5/1/2027 <br /> Service dates are assigned based on the vendor's invoice and agreed-upon schedule between the <br /> parties. Mad Science will provide one-hour science shows and/or workshops at the locations <br /> listed below: <br /> El Salvador Community Center <br /> Garfield Community Center <br /> Jerome Recreation Center <br /> Salgado Recreation Center <br /> Dates may be adjusted by mutual written agreement if necessary. <br /> COMPENSATION DUE TO THE VENDOR <br /> Contractor shall be compensated for each performance within forty-five(45)days following the <br /> completion of that performance. <br /> Total compensation shall not exceed$10,000 for the term of the agreement. <br /> Invoices will be submitted electronically by the vendor.Payment will be issued via check or <br /> direct deposit only.Credit card payments are not permitted under this agreement. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES <br /> Mad Science will deliver engaging,interactive science-based performances designed for youth <br /> and teen audiences. Performances will be approximately one(1)hour in length and may include <br /> live demonstrations,hands-on experiments, audience participation, and age-appropriate scientific <br /> explanations. <br /> Set-Up &Teardown: <br /> Mad Science is responsible for all set-up and teardown related to the performance,including <br /> materials, equipment, and demonstration supplies. Community center staff will provide access to <br /> the designated performance space and assist with basic facility needs as required,such as <br /> providing tables and chairs. <br />
