Narrative: Narrative <br />Friday, June 25, 2021 <br />1154 Hours <br />I was contacted at home by Detective Sergeant Mel Sarabia #2565 of the Santa Ana Police Department <br />Homicide Section, who advised me of an in custody death that had occurred at the Santa Jail located at 62 <br />Civic Center Plaza in the City of Santa Ana. Sergeant Sarabia requested I respond and handle the SAPD <br />investigation. <br />1345 Hours <br />Sergeant Sarabia provided a briefing to SAPD Homicide Detectives as to the known circumstances related <br />to the incident. <br />1355 Hours <br />I arrived at the Santa Ana Jail booking area located on the first floor.
