The <br /> OCFA operates 10 stations throughout the City and has access to an additional 76 stations in its <br /> service area.66 According to the City Public Safety Element, each station covers a service radius of <br /> approximately 1.5 miles throughout the City. The first fire unit response goal is less than 5 minutes.67 <br /> The closest fire station to the project site is OCFA Station No. 72, located approximately 0.32 mile <br /> north. <br /> The Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD) provides police protection to the City. The SAPD is divided <br /> into two policing divisions, East and West, and these are further divided into four districts overseen by <br /> two district commanders.As of August 2019, 348 sworn positions and 250 professional staff positions <br /> serve the SAPD.
