CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> PROPOSAL <br /> PROJECT NO.: 23-6706 <br /> MCFADDEN AVENUE REHABILITATION <br /> RAITT AVENUE TO GRAND AVENUE <br /> STATEMENT REGARDING APPRENTICESHIP REQUIREMENTS <br /> The undersigned BIDDER is familiar with the requirements of Section 1777.5 of the State Labor <br /> Code regarding employment of apprentices, and understands that contractors on contracts <br /> exceeding$30,000 or 20 working days shall: <br /> 1. Apply to the joint apprenticeship committee administering the apprenticeship standards of the <br /> craft or trade in the area of the site of the public work for a certificate approving the contractor <br /> under the apprenticeship standards for the employment and training of apprentices in the area <br /> or industry affected. <br /> 2. Employ the number of apprentices or the ratio of apprentices to journeymen stipulated in the <br /> apprenticeship standards. <br /> 3.
