If the steward is protected against such layoff by the provisions of the applicable <br /> Mastor Labor Agreement, such provisions shall be, recognized when the steward possesses the j <br /> necessary qualifications to per-form the remaining work, In any case in which the steward is <br /> discharged or disciplined for just cause,the appropriate Union will be.notified immediately by the <br /> Contractor, and such discharge or discipline shall not become final (subje(;t to any later filed <br /> grievance) until twenty-lbur(24)hours after such notice has been given. 1 <br /> ARTICLE 5 <br /> WWAa11S AND BENEVITS <br /> i <br /> Section 5.1 ';get All employees coveted by this Agreement shall he classified in accordance <br /> with work performed and paid by the Contractors the hourly wage rates for those classifications in <br /> compliance with the applicable prevailing wage rate determination established pursuant to <br /> applicable law. If a prevailing rato increases under law, the Contractor shall pay that rate as of its <br /> effective date under the law. This Agreement does not.relieve Contractors direetly signatory to a <br /> Master Labor Agrcetxrent with one of the Unions signing this Agreement from paying all of the <br /> wages set forth in such Agreements. <br /> Section 5.2 Benefits <br /> 1 <br /> 5.2.1 Contractors shall pay contributions to the established employee benefit funds in the <br /> amounts designated in the appropriate Master Labor Agreement and make all employee-- 1 <br /> authorized deductions in the amounts designated in the appropriate Master Labor Agreement, ; <br /> howover, such contributions shall not exceed the contribution amounts set forth in the applicable <br /> prevailing wage determination. This Agreement does not.relieve Contractors directly signatory to <br /> one or more of the Master Labor Agreements frown i naking all contributions set forth in those <br /> Master Labor Agreements without reference to the foregoing. 1 <br /> 5.2.2 The Contractor adopts and agrees to be bound by the written terms of the applicable, <br /> legally established, trust agiwrnent(s) specifying the detailed basis on which payments are to be <br /> made into, and benefits paid out of, such trust funds ibr its employees.
