SA 12-026 <br />Investigator: Brett Andersen Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 12/05/12 Date:12/07/12 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />CASE NAME: GULLEN, JAIME LOPEZ <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (NON-FATAL) <br />TYPE: CANVASS <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />On October 22, 2012, at approximately 2240 hours, Orange County District Attorney <br />Supervising Investigator RON SEMAN contacted me regarding an officer involved shooting <br />involving the Santa Ana Police Department. SEMAN requested I respond to the area of 500 <br />West Walnut Street, in the city of Santa Ana, to assist with the investigation. <br />I arrived on scene at approximately 2340 hours and met with investigators from the <br />Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) and the Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD), <br />who were present to assist with the investigation. <br />At approximately 0037 hours, SAPD Sergeant JIM ARMSTRONG conducted a briefing <br />regarding the known circumstances of the incident for the personnel involved in the <br />investigation. <br />Following the briefing, OCDA Supervising Investigator RON SEMAN directed me to team <br />with SAPD Detective GUS MOROYOQUI to conduct a canvass for potential witnesses. Detective <br />MOROYOQUI translated the interviews into English from Spanish.
